This year I was invited to be on the team to shoot this years Summertime Ball hosted by Capital FM. Pop isn't something I often shoot so I was well up for the opportunity to photograph something out of my comfort zone, first time shooting at Wembley Stadium as well. The day was manic with around 20 artists performing! Some for only one song. Here's a few of my favourite shots from the event, big shout out to Victor Frankowski, Mike Massaro, Patricia Board, and always awesome to work alongside my mate Jordan Curtis Hughes, thanks to the amazing Capital FM team as well.
So happy to be invited back to shoot Soundcity for the official team. The Festival gets better every year, with the new location on the docks which adds a really unique dimension. I'm really looking forward to working with the team more and can't wait to see what they have in store next year. For now here are some highlights.
What a final festival to end the season on, this stunning festival truly encapsulates its surroundings in Portmeirion. A quite magical three days with so many photo opportunities not just with the bands, but with the artists & performers that make this the most unique festival in the country, can't wait to get back there.
So another year another Leeds Festival, surprisingly the weather held up for most of the weekend which made trekking round the site a lot easier than last year. A packed schedule with Metallica topping off the bill made this year very special, and getting literally 5 seconds to shoot a portrait with The Libertines was intense.
