I recently headed up to Edinburgh to shoot Mercury Music Winners 'Young Fathers' I had heard little about the group apart from their recent win of the award so I put on their album 'Dead' for the duration of the train journey, managed to squeeze in three plays. I was blown away, I love finding new music and new artists and the group have a really great way with sound & vocals. We met up at the train station and managed to land on some locations whilst on-route to their manager's house where Kevin was set to interview the band for the feature.
It was a pleasure to shoot the band, they were professionals and each of them were very comfortable in front of the camera. The whole afternoon was really relaxed and laid back, just the way I like to work, I always find it generates the best shots too. We finished up the shoot in their managers 'Tim' s house. Here are some more shots from the afternoon, the feature is in this weeks issue, go check it out, and go check out Young Fathers, their future looks very promising.
